The cold it bites with sharp fangs
The wind howls its hunger pangs
Warm breath it turns to snow
Eyes burn the feelings go
The tear streaked face no longer cares
The pain is sharp your mind stares
Alone and dark the sun finally sets
And it comes you try to forget
Its wrath you now feel
As darkness falls it's revealed
Emotion wells up inside
In its touch death abides
Words so cold they chill the bone
As the frost giant takes his throne

Eyesight grows dim
Countenance is haggard
Thoughts twist within
The dragon awakens
From sleep too arise
The temple is shaken
As God he defies
He seethes in his rage
Awaiting the time
Loosed from his cage
The prison inside
To kill and destroy
His hatred runs deep
You are his toy
A possession to keep
Till woken by sin
The dragon will sleep
Stay quiet within
Lest you he will keep

Broken rules that you forgot
Voices chatter in your head
You scream and argue with the dead
Condemned for what you have not done
Accusers judge, no place to run
A wizard they say you are
They say you pray to fallen stars
They cast you into what is beneath
The flames shimmer like wicked teeth
Pain boils, cry out in pain
All memories of you now the same
As death creeps in on blackened bones
The last reflection of your soul
Hateful laughter and demonic smiles
Thoughts of hate and all things vile
What you believed is not true
Strange things seemed real to you
You spout a curse to defy

Pounding inside my skull
Hated memories are bleeding
No one can see the drops fall
Each memory tainted by pain
All so familiar so cold
Still bleed fresh even though
